Top Five Apps for Selling a Home For Sale by Owner – Benefit Title Services

September 20, 2019/in For Sale By Owner /by bestedge

When it comes to selling your home without an agent, one of the most difficult aspects is being able to get your listing out there in a way that entices buyers. Selling your home quickly means making sure that buyers can find your listing, and that your listing is appealing to buyers in a number of ways. There are a lot of tools at your disposal to help you during this process, including the five apps listed below.

Redfin

Redfin is a real estate listing site that allows you to continuously update your listing to make it more appealing to buyers. You can include all of the relevant information about your home on the listing, as well as upload photos and post an asking price. Redfin updates listings in the app every 15 minutes, so you’ll always know that potential buyers are seeing the latest information about your home for sale.

Zillow

Zillow is one of the most trusted and popular real estate listing sites because it lists more than a million homes a year that are not in the multiple listing service that realtors use. Zillow is very easy to use for both buyers and sellers. A perk of Zillow is that you can upload a video walkthrough to give buyers more to go on before contacting you for a showing.

SQFT

SQFT is a listing app for homeowners who are selling their home for sale by owner. You do have to pay a bit to use this service, usually as low as 1 percent of the purchase price plus a $500 transaction fee. However, this is much cheaper than the average six percent of the purchase price that most realtors take in commissions.

Homesnap

Homesnap was designed for home buyers, but it can be useful for sellers, too. You can snap a picture of any property and get information about it, including its asking price or market value. This app can be very helpful for determining an asking price for your own property because you’ll be able to easily find out the values of homes in your neighborhood.

Houzz

Part of getting your home to sell quickly is staging it to look its best. There are some minor home renovations and remodeling that you can do to increase the value of your home and make it sell faster, but it can be difficult to know where you should focus your efforts. This app gives you all the information you need by allowing you to virtually remodel areas of your home.

If you are looking to sell your home quickly and need further assistance, contact us today for more information.
